Cancellations

We understand there may be circumstances when you may need to cancel your booking. Please find below our cancellation policy in full. A hard copy of which is also available in school.

Holiday Provision Cancellation Policy 2022-2023

Cancellation Charges

If you wish to cancel your place on our Holiday provision, you can do so at anytime. We don't normally refund camps outside of the 14 day colling off period, however we have detailed our options for cancellations below.

  • Cancellations of Summer Schools and Summer Camp Tuition and Care can be made by calling our team on 01423 819207 or emailing info@actacademy.co.uk or hello@performatots.co.uk

  • Within 14 days of booking, you may cancel your place/s with only the online payment processing fee charges deducted. However, if camp starts within this time period, you are subject to a 30% cancellation fee if you decide to cancel in this timeframe.

  • Outside of this window, you may cancel your place, but are not entitled to a full refund. You do have options though to ensure you don't miss out. In grave and exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, we may refund at our discretion.

  • A full credit can be authorised for use in the future, full details found below. This will be at no administration charges to you.

  • Where practically possible, we may also agree to amend your booking dates prior to the start of camp free of charge, subject to availability – see below on how to amend your booking.

 

Amend your Booking

We can offer you a change of booking, like for like, (however this is subject to availability and limited places are available on each camp.) We recommend that you get in touch as soon as possible to give your child the best chance of being able to book onto an alternative provision.

 

Childcare vouchers (inc. Government Tax Free scheme)

We accept childcare vouchers in England for full / part payment. Payment must be received by us prior to the registration of your child. You will then be issued with a unique coupon code to register and checkout without needing your card details. If you pay via this method, we must refund you to the same account you paid from.

 

Credit Notes

When a credit note is granted, this is valid for 12 months (unless otherwise specified). You can use the credit towards any dates or service provision that we offer in the school. If you have credit on account from a previous year and you no longer wish to use that, our standard cancellation policy will apply.

 

Force Majeure

In cases of disruption to service, out of our control, we will do everything in our power to operate our normal services, where it is safe to do so. However, severe disruptions may require the closure of the school and/or result in a diversification or reduction in service. In such cases, fees remain payable during any period of closure outside of our control. Examples of force majeure include but are not limited to extreme weather (including snow/ice) other acts of God, pandemic, or third parties outside of the school’s control including disruptions to highways, public transport, utilities and industrial action.

 

Exclusions

The Principal reserves the right to request parents/guardians to take their child out of Holiday Provision with us, if it should, in their opinion, be in the best interest of the pupil, or the other pupils, or of the school environment and staff, that they should leave.

We have high expectations for all our pupils and a code of conduct that is clear from the beginning of a child’s time with us, well-being and happiness are our highest priority and a Paediatric first aider and Well-Being Coordinator are on site at all times during summer provision.

If your child is excluded by our company, due to these circumstances, we may look to refund in part. These exceptional circumstances would be looked into on a case-by-case basis.

 

VARIATIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ACTAcademy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at our discretion, but we aim to provide a minimum of 2 weeks-notice to current customers. Any changes will take effect 2 weeks after notification.
